July 2016

It’s been a busy few months at Qudos Energy, we have been working on numerous projects both out on site and in-house. The in-house project has focused on growing sports turf indoors utilising differing wavelengths, its been ongoing for a month now and results look well. Out in the horticulture world, there is a lot of interest in LED technology and looking at various methods of delivering light. The advances in LED of the the last few months and given the data sheets we are seeing is impressive and it shows the technology is there and is improving on a quarterly basis, we have plans to have an all integrating system and look forward to sharing it with you towards the end of the year, in terms of control-ability it is second to none and will deliver efficiency not seen to date and make LED a really attractive proposition in terms of cost per M2 to grow to produce both in glasshouses, urban farms, and vertical farming.

We will keep you updated with future developments as they happen.
